ISBR Business School Launches SWATANTRA “Senior Citizen Program” to Empower Digital Literacy

ISBR Business School, Bangalore, proudly inaugurated the SWATANTRA “Senior Citizen Program” on June 16, 2024, as part of its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 10 (Reducing Inequalities).

The SWATANTRA “Senior Citizen Program” spans seven weeks and is designed to empower senior citizens with essential digital literacy skills. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics including digital literacy, financial literacy, communication, cyber security, health, mental well-being, and general awareness. The program culminates in a graduation day ceremony where participants, accompanied by their families, celebrate their learning achievements and receive certificates.

The launch event featured a keynote session on digital literacy delivered by esteemed speakers Mr. Santhosh SS, Founder of Dhiyo.ai, Mr. Girish Raghavan, Vice President of Engineering at Fiserv, and Ms. Padma. Their insightful presentations were interactive, informative, and inspiring, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of digital tools and their practical applications in daily life.
