BENGALURU — To prepare students for corporate placement opportunities, ISBR Business School organized an intensive Product Manager Internship Training session on August 1, 2026. Led by distinguished alumnus Mr. Sawon Shah (Batch 2015–17), Product Manager at EY, the workshop delivered targeted preparation for 18 selected students gearing up for the Warner Bros. During the training, Mr. Sawon Shah provided a breakdown of the core competencies and analytical approaches expected during product management interview rounds.
The session focused on practical frameworks to equip candidates with structured problem-solving skills:
- The CIRCLE Method: Students were trained on the CIRCLE framework (Comprehend context, Identify customer, Report needs, Cut prioritizing, List solutions, Evaluate tradeoffs) to tackle complex product scenarios using media industry examples.
- The STAR Method: Mr. Shah coached students on applying the STAR framework (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure behavioral interview responses that highlight leadership, teamwork, and data-driven decision-making.
- Product Metrics & KPIs: The session detailed essential product performance metrics, teaching candidates how to measure user engagement, retention, and business value within the entertainment domain.

Entertainment & Media Sector Insights
Tailoring the content to the Warner Bros. recruitment drive, Mr. Shah shared insights into global media trends, digital consumption habits, and tech-driven market dynamics. Through interactive scenario analysis, participating scholars learned how product managers evaluate market competition and implement customer-centric features across digital entertainment platforms.
