BENGALURU — Celebrating 36 years of educational excellence (1990–2026), ISBR College of Engineering and Technology (ICET) hosted the grand inauguration ceremony for its incoming Engineering Batch (2026–30) on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the ISBR Auditorium in Electronic City, Bengaluru.

- Chief Guest Keynote: Mr. Ashvin Vellody, Chief Strategy Officer at Deloitte South Asia, delivered the chief guest address, sharing strategic insights on global technology trends, enterprise innovation, and technical leadership.
- Voices of Experience: Key industry leaders—including Ms. Sandhya Vasudevan (Former MD, Deutsche Bank & Thomson Reuters), Mr. Sanjeet Rao (Distinguished Engineer, Oracle), and Mr. Shiv Nair (Vice President, NTT Data)—addressed the cohort on emerging technological paradigms, engineering design, and practical industry agility.
- Student Commitment Ceremony: Dr. Veerappan V, Chairman of ELCITA, administered the Sankalp (Student Oath) during the commitment ceremony, encouraging students to combine technical competence with ethical responsibility and industry-focused innovation.
Academic Roadmaps & Onboarding
- Presidential Address & Program Insights: Dr. Manish Kothari, Founder & President of ISBR Group of Institutions, delivered the presidential address, while Dr. V. G. Sangam, Principal of ICET, presented the academic structure and industry-aligned engineering curriculum.
- Batch Unveiling & Student Handbook Release: The event marked the official unveiling of the incoming Engineering Batch 2026–30 and the formal release of the ICET Student Handbook.
- Mentorship & Institutional Leadership: Incoming engineering students were introduced to the faculty, technical staff, and institutional leadership team, guided by Dr. C. Manohar (Sr. Director) and Dr. K.S. Anandaram (Sr. Director). The ceremony formally concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Niranjan Mahabalappa, CEO & Professor of Practice, followed by the National Anthem.
