Honoring Mentors: ISBR College Celebrates Teachers’ Day 2025

On 5th September 2025, ISBR College, Electronic City, Phase 1, Bengaluru, organized a heartfelt celebration to honor its faculty and staff on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. The event, held at the ISBR Seminar Hall from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM , was a public demonstration of gratitude and respect for the dedication and invaluable contributions of the educators.

Objectives: Valuing the Teaching Profession

The primary objective of the function was to show immense gratitude and respect to the teachers, professors, and staff for their tireless dedication and hard work. The celebration served as a crucial platform for students and teachers to interact outside the formal classroom setting and highlight the vital role educators play in shaping future generations and national progress. By celebrating the faculty, the college directly promoted the teaching profession as a noble and fulfilling career.

The Day’s Proceedings and Motivational Speeches

The event, hosted by Ms. Feyola Fay, 3rd Semester BCom , began with a devotional song sung by a student, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

Motivational speeches from the college leadership were a significant part of the morning:

  • Dr. Tapan Nayak (Principal) expressed his views on the importance of teachers in a student’s life and how they mold and shape a student’s career in the right manner.
  • Dr. H. N. Srikanta (Principal of the Evening College) narrated inspiring Sanskrit verses related to the sacred relationship between teachers and students, motivating and inspiring all attendees with his profound knowledge.

Fun, Interaction, and Cultural Programs

To ensure a much-needed break from the academic routine , students arranged various activities for fun and recreation. Teachers and students were divided into 8 groups, each creating a unique group title. The activities conducted were jovial and enthralling, providing an informal setting for interaction and breaking down traditional classroom barriers. In the midst of the games, cultural programs were also conducted.

The heartfelt celebration yielded significant positive outcomes:
