A Day of Exploration: ISBR Staff Outing to Heritage and Nature

On Wednesday, December 31, 2024, the staff of ISBR College embarked on a memorable one-day outing, as reported by Prof. RekhaSrijith. The trip was a delightful blend of nature, history, and spirituality, with visits to several significant locations: Nimishamba Temple, Srirangapatna Temple, Karigatta Hills, Tippu Sultan Palace, and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary.

Objectives of the Outing

Next, the group ascended Karigatta Hills, providing panoramic views and a refreshing connection with nature. The historical segment of the trip included Tippu Sultan Palace, where the staff delved into the legacy of the legendary ruler.

A highlight of the outing was the visit to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, a renowned haven for a wide variety of avian species. Here, the purpose of the visit was to engage in a boat ride to observe the sanctuary’s natural wonders and diverse birdlife firsthand.
