Dr. Rajashekar S, a dedicated PhD scholar at the ISBR Research Centre under the University of Mysore, has been awarded his PhD on April 25, 2024. Dr. Rajashekar’s research has made significant contributions to the field of workplace dynamics, focusing on a critical aspect of organizational success: employee engagement. His thesis, titled “A Study on the Impact of Holistic Wellbeing on Employee Engagement – With Reference to Selected IT Companies of Bangalore City,” offers profound insights into how holistic well-being can influence and enhance employee engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journey to this academic achievement was marked by rigorous research and scholarly dedication. Dr. Rajashekar was fortunate to receive guidance from a distinguished doctoral committee. Ms. Alka Jain, the Chairman of the Doctoral Committee, provided exceptional leadership and expertise, ensuring the research met the highest standards of academic excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The committee also included Prof. B Mahadevappa, Chairman of the Board of Studies in Commerce at the University of Mysore, whose extensive knowledge and experience greatly enriched the research discourse. Dr. K S Anandaram, Senior Director at the ISBR Research Centre, offered strategic insights that were instrumental in shaping the research. Furthermore, Dr. M R Jhansi Rani, Director & Professor at ISBR Research Centre, provided invaluable mentorship, guiding Dr. Rajashekar through the complexities of his research. Dr. Anand Shankar Raja M, Member & Assistant Professor at ISBR, contributed his scholarly perspective, adding depth to the evaluation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Rajashekar’s thesis explores the intersection of holistic well-being and employee engagement within the context of Bangalore’s IT sector, a field where high levels of stress and burnout are prevalent. His research underscores the importance of fostering a work environment that supports employees’ physical, emotional, and mental well-being, thereby enhancing their engagement and productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
