In an era where diversity, equity, inclusion, and belongingness (DEIB) are not just buzzwords but essential components of thriving corporate environments, ISBR Business School took a proactive step forward. Collaborating with the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) Bangalore Chapter, ISBR launched the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belongingness Certification Program (DEIBCP), a pioneering initiative aimed at shaping inclusive leaders of tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kicked off on March 2, 2024, under the visionary guidance of Dr. A. Narasima Venkatesh, Professor, and Head of the Department – HRM and General Management, the program targeted the first-year students of the PGDM Batch 2023-25. Its core objective was to arm ISBR students with the requisite tools and insights to foster diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces, echoing the contemporary demands of the corporate landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the helm of this transformative journey were esteemed trainers: Ms Suja Warriar, Former HR Manager – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Infosys Ltd, Bangalore, and Mr Aravind Warrier, HR Lead-People & Culture, Volvo, Bangalore. Their wealth of experience and expertise in driving DEIB initiatives added tremendous value, providing participants with practical wisdom and real-world perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DEIBCP signifies a significant stride in ISBR Business School’s unwavering commitment to nurturing inclusive leadership and catalyzing societal impact through management education. As organizations increasingly recognize the undeniable business case for diversity and inclusion, initiatives like the DEIBCP serve as potent catalysts for change. They not only inspire but actively empower individuals to champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belongingness within their spheres of influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By equipping future leaders with the skills to navigate complex DEIB challenges, ISBR Business School is not just preparing them for successful careers but also instilling a sense of responsibility towards building more equitable and thriving workplaces.
