{"id":3734,"date":"2017-07-26T09:46:00","date_gmt":"2017-07-26T09:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.isbr.in\/blogs\/?p=3734"},"modified":"2021-05-06T09:51:50","modified_gmt":"2021-05-06T09:51:50","slug":"workshop-on-turnaround-management","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.isbr.in\/blogs\/workshop-on-turnaround-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop on Turnaround Management"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">There is a lot of pressure on corporates from banks, government, employees and other stakeholders to maintain not just profitability, but also ensure credit ratings and address cash flow pressures.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The one-day workshop on Turnaround Management conducted by the Center for Executive Education (CEE) at ISBR Business School on 22 July 2017 addressed the skills which every manager needs to know to keep the ship afloat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop had participants from diverse sectors \u2014 public sector, private sector, doctors, entrepreneurs, young start-ups and chartered accountants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Ananth Rao, Dean, University of Dubai; Prof. Kiran Bindu, Financial Expert and Founder Mentees Capital; and Prof. Naniah, Marketing Expert and an entrepreneur, each discussed how an organization can turn around when faced with a crisis through relevant case studies, examples and one-to-one discussion of the participants&#8217; problems and doubts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop concluded with a wrap-up by Dr. Ananth Rao, Dr. C.Manohar and Dr. Chandra NiFanjan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Valedictory Address was given by Dr. K.S. Gupta, Director, CEE, ISBR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feedback from the participants showed that the workshop provided useful information with ample Opportunities for clarifications.
