appeared for the batch of 2017-2019 which is approximately double the batch size of the year 2016-2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
15 July 2017 was the day which brought all the future stars of ISBR to the auditorium where they were welcomed warmly. They were congratulated and motivated by the dignitaries thus formally consolidating them in the ocean of knowledge; \u2018ISBR’ The Inaugural Program was organized in a dignified manner. It was indeed an honor to have Sri G Kumar Naik (Vice-President, Bangalore Management Association, MD, Karnataka Power Corporation Limited) as Chief Guest, Prof. N Ravi IFS<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(Retd) (IIM-B) as Guest of Honour along with Mr. Manish Kothari (MD, ISBR), Dr. K.S. Anandram (Senior Director, ISBR), Dr. C. Manohar (Dean, ISBR), Dr. Chandra Niranjan (Dean, Finishing School, ISBR), Dr. T. Karpagam (Director, Academics, ISBR) and all the faculty members of ISBR. Corporate leaders of organizations such as Wipro, eBeam, and lnRootz also graced the occasion.
Dr. Anandram proposed the welcome speech making the students understand the importance of the \u20193Es\u2019
(Employment, Empowerment, and Enhancement) in one’s prosperous career.
Dr. Anandram and Dr. C. Manohar said, \u201dISBR is a platform which makes you self-sufficient to an extent that you need not follow jobs, instead jobs would follow you. They motivated the students and filled the room with inspirational vibes.
Honorable Chief Guest Sri G. Kumar Naik enlightened the students by granting them the knowledge of the origin of management studies, history, and its current position. He also enlightened on how Bangalore rose as a heart of both public and private sector and how fortunate one is to be here. He recalled Gandhiji’s quote,”We all are trustees of the Nations And asked the new students of ISBR to take on the responsibility of contributing to it.
Dr. Chandra Niranjan then addressed the gathering and gave the students important tips on being successful,\u201cBefore you talk, listen; before you speak, think; before you criticize, wait; before you spend, earn.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Further, Prof N. Ravi shared his experiences in life and shared his views about the innovations around the world and advised the students to utilize every opportunity at ISBR and to become pioneers of innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The charismatic leader of ISBR, Mr. Manish Kothari assured parents that the students would be engaged in the various activities throughout their tenure at ISBR. ISBR being in Electronic city, the industrial exposure becomes the most obvious plus point. He additionally ensured that the entire course would be beyond the classroom and would assist overall growth of the students. He concluded the speech by sharing a story on how a young boy who did not know how to take a single bucket of water was able to help an elderly person in time of need, depicting the power of inner voice which is in absence of distinct societal pressures. Through this story he requested students to acquire an intellect and bring out their best throughout life.
