The day was marked by the two most important events in the calendar of any institute.\u00a0 The institute held its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isbr.in\/blog\/2017\/07\/04\/isbr-convocation-2017\/\">convocation<\/a> on this day followed by an Alumni Meet in the evening. The entire day was marked with festivities, celebration, fun, and fervor.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst the convocation was a formal and somber affair, the students got to let their hair down at <strong>ELEKTRA NITE 2017,\u00a0<\/strong>the ensuing Alumni Meet in the evening. The programs were attended not only by the students but also by respected luminaries from healthcare, software, legal and consultancy backgrounds. Students of the institute from across several batches also participated with full vigour and joy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.isbr.in\/blog\/2017\/07\/05\/isbr-alumni-meet-2017\/moment-captured_down_isbr-convocation-2017_25-1\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1876\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1876\" src=\"http:\/\/www.isbr.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Moment-captured_down_ISBR-Convocation-2017_25-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Few pioneer Alumnus of ISBR Bangalore shared their experiences;<\/p>\n<p>Arunima Salopal: \u201cIt was exhilarating to catch up with all my batch mates and reminiscing about good old days. It felt great that all the batchmates are doing so well in life. It provided us the opportunity to meet with many of fellow alumnus after a long time as well as an opportunity to meet friends, faculty and other staff members. A decade ago, our college was a small &amp; struggling organization. \u00a0If we talk about ISBR today; Its alumni have been widely-spread across the globe \u00a0and shining \u00a0for their contribution in their respective areas of management functions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the day also witnessed the official launch of an Incubator Centre named\u00a0<strong>ACUMEN, an initiative conceptualized by ISBR alumnus Mr. Nihar Satapathy, Principal Consultant cum Partner along with Mr. Susrut Varun Das, Managing Partner, A&amp;S Law Chamber and Consultants.<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.isbr.in\/blog\/2017\/07\/05\/isbr-alumni-meet-2017\/guest-pics-one-collage-of-4-pics-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1875\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1875\" src=\"http:\/\/www.isbr.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Guest-Pics-one-collage-of-4-pics-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>ISBR has now become the first business institute in the country to have a fully functional \u2013legal and corporate consultancy incubator in ACUMEN. The incubator has been set up in collaboration with A&amp;S Law Chamber and Consultants- a full service legal and corporate consulting firm based out of Bhubaneswar, Delhi, and Bangalore. A&amp;S shall be the knowledge and implementation partner for ACUMEN.\u00a0 The Incubator was officially launched by Mr. Hemant Ram, Vice President (Legal), Mphasis.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Manish Kothari, MD of ISBR B-school has expressed his pleasure on the smooth conduct of the events and thanked the students and guests for their participation as well as a contribution in making the events successful.
