ISBR Cares, the institution\u2019s sustainability wing, takes the initiative to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti (October 2)\u2014a day celebrating Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s vision of Swachh Bharat (Clean India)\u2014with youth-led campaigns that go beyond physical cleanliness to nurture ethical and moral purity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative aligned with the nationwide Clean India Drive and the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign, echoing Gandhi\u2019s timeless principle: \u201cCleanliness is next to Godliness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Spirit of Gandhi Jayanti and Swachh Bharat Diwas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every October 2, India honors Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s birth anniversary, which is also observed globally as the International Day of Non-Violence. The Swachh Bharat Mission, launched on this day in 2014, became a nationwide call for collective cleanliness and civic responsibility\u2014symbolizing the country\u2019s tribute to the Father of the Nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, the Ministry of Education and AICTE urged educational institutions to participate in Swachhata Pakhwada (1\u201315 September), marking the 10th year of this noble mission. Colleges and universities were encouraged to organize cleanliness drives, awareness rallies, tree plantations, and creative student competitions to promote sustainability, hygiene, and civic awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ISBR Cares: Cultivating Clean Minds and Sustainable Hearts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At ISBR, the campaign extended beyond mere campus cleanliness. Through ISBR Cares, the institute aims to develop socially responsible citizens who embody both Swabhaav Swachaata (cleanliness of mind) and Sanskaar Swachaata (cleanliness of values).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognizing that family and schools often miss shaping young minds in today\u2019s fast-paced world, colleges like ISBR step forward as the final nurturing ground. As future managers and leaders, students are encouraged to practice sustainability and empathy\u2014qualities essential for responsible corporate leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Waste to Wealth: Street Plays That Sparked Change<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Swachhata Abhiyaan 2025 spanned from September 15 to October 31, featuring a host of impactful activities, culminating in a vibrant street play competition on pressing social themes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the standout performances, \u201cFrom Waste to Wealth: Street Plays That Sparked Change,\u201d tackled the social evil of dowry deaths, inspired by recent incidents in Noida. Students dramatized the issue through emotionally charged performances that blended art, activism, and awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t just perform\u2014we sparked conversations.
