Bengaluru, India<\/span><\/b> \u2013 ISBR College in Electronics City Phase I recently hosted a significant event focused on “New Pedagogical Approaches to the 4th Semester NEP English Textbooks” on Wednesday, April 19, 2023<\/span>. The workshop, reported by Mrs. Kalpana, brought together members of the English Department to delve into the nuances of the Bangalore University (BU) syllabus adapted to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The primary objective of the event was to provide teachers with an opportunity to interact with scholars and artists, fostering an environment to devise methods for making education a holistic experience<\/span>. A key focus was also on providing a clear understanding of the 4th-semester NEP syllabus<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The workshop included detailed discussions on the 4th semester NEP Generic English syllabus<\/span>. The Bangalore University English Teachers Association played a crucial role, explaining the syllabus course-wise and offering in-depth explanations for each chapter, along with insights into the question paper model<\/span>. The course, as highlighted during the discussions, has been adapted in line with NEP 2020 guidelines, emphasizing a holistic and multidisciplinary educational approach<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The outcome of the event was a reinforced understanding of learning outcomes, which are a required element of the syllabus<\/span>. These outcomes define what students should know and be able to do upon successful completion of the course<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, the workshop proved highly beneficial, providing faculties with a clear picture on the 4th semester syllabus<\/span>.
